With the institute since: as long as I can remember – but officially as a trainee since 2003, an ocularist since 2009 and managing director since 2012.

What I like best about my job: I love to create things with my hands and to make people happy.

Hobbies: Playing the guitar, literature

Holger Leipold

With the institute since: 1980

What I like best about my job: I particularly like working with children. They ensure that the job never gets boring, even after so many years.

Hobbies: Cooking, blues music (listening and playing)

What I like best about my job: I like working with the material glass. I enjoy forming the material according to my plans.

Hobbies: Photography, archery and everything to do with computers
